DREAD INDEX
A weighted synthesis of vetted real‑time feeds — conflict alerts, public‑health advisories, environmental warnings, and other high‑impact threat signals. Every vector is protocol‑driven, mapped to a fixed post count capacity, and weighted for severity. All meters run on authentic, current‑state data only. The computation core is sealed; its logic is known only to the system.
THREAT LEVELS
DI 0 — NULL CALM: No signal; instruments idle.
DI 1 — VEILED ROUSING: Bare trace; noise floor.
DI 2 — STATIC PULSE: Distant tremors.
DI 3 — SHADOW TRACE: Tangible unrest at the periphery.
DI 4 — TREMOR STATE: Edges catch; heat builds.
DI 5 — BREAKAGE PERSISTS: Lines strain; order thins.
DI 6 — SURGE FRONT: Flexing instability.
DI 7 — IRON WRAITH: Containment slips.
DI 8 — DOOM HORIZON: Frames shear; guidance fails.
DI 9 — BLACK EVENT: Shadows converge; saturation imminent.
DI 10 — TERMINAL SILENCE: Global threshold breached; only the switch remains.
FEED ARCHITECTURE
All feeds are sealed and ceremony‑bound. Each vector is weighted by severity and routed through suppression logic. Hydration is non‑cached, DI computation is real‑time, and fallback loaders are Hermes‑safe.
Scroll‑to‑top resets feed hydration. The DI Threat Meter reflects current‑state computation only.
Signals are sifted, scored, and cycled; the obsolete is purged without trace.
OPERATIONS
The GLOBAL feed consolidates and scores all vector feeds. Use the top menu to navigate the vectors, or in absence of the top menu, tap ☰ to navigate.
Tap the DreadExec header or GLOBAL in the menu to return to the global feed. Tapping the collapsed (small) dial returns the feed to the top of the scroll and restores the dial.
DREAD REPORT
The DREAD REPORT is a sealed, periodic artifact that captures the system’s current‑state threat synthesis. It is not a forecast, but a snapshot of the quantified dread index across all vectors at the moment of issuance.
Each report is ceremony‑bound: vectors are enumerated, weighted, and logged with their computed DI values. No editorial commentary is added — only the raw, protocol‑driven state of global instability.
The report is regenerated every 24 hours at 0001 GMT, ensuring a consistent daily cadence. Subscribers receive direct access to each new issuance, preserving continuity and granting early visibility into the quantified dread index.
Reports are archived for continuity, allowing longitudinal study of systemic stress and collapse signals. They are immutable once issued, preserving the integrity of the ritual record.
